The National Motor Freight Classification™ (NMFC®) is developed and maintained by the Commodity Classification Standards Board (CCSB). The CCSB investigates, initiates, considers and acts on matters affecting the provisions of the NMFC®, including: proposals for amending the classification of commodities; commodity descriptions; classes; rules; packaging definitions, specifications and requirements; bill of lading formats, terms and conditions; and other provisions contained in the NMFC®. The CCSB is an autonomous board consisting of not less than three or more than seven full-time employees of the National Motor Freight Traffic Association (NMFTA) one of whom serves as Chairman. At present, there are five CCSB members. In addition, the CCSB’s staff includes a Legal Counsel and Packaging Consultant.〔http://www.nmfta.org/pages/ccsbintro〕 NMFTA hosts three meetings a year at which the CCSB considers proposals to amend the NMFC® and the Association considers various topics and issues of interest to its members.〔http://www.nmfta.org/pages/publicmeetings〕 ==See also== *Freight *Less than truckload shipping *National Motor Freight Classification *National Motor Freight Traffic Association 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Commodity Classification Standards Board」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
